Volunteers

VOLUNTEER PHILOSOPHY:

Volunteer participation creates an environment of community relationships structured to enhance the NMRF image and encourage support. A Volunteer program can provide cost effective access to a vast pool of experience, knowledge and expertise.

BUSINESS VOLUNTEERS:

Company volunteers will distribute information to employees, providing awareness, encouragement to participate in NMRF programs, become NMRF “philanthropists” and promote Support Groups. Volunteers are encouraged to disseminate NMRF information through publishing in company communication vehicles, including web sites, in house news papers, etc. and to schedule speaking engagements for NMRF representatives.

YOUTH VOLUNTEERS:

Participate “hands on” in the creation and administration of programs designed to promote the NMRF mission. Partner with “Youth Across America” to introduce them to the world of philanthropy and the joy of giving; encourage the development and application of creative and entrepreneurial talents; stimulate community interest; educate to conduct fund raising “goal success training”.

GENERAL VOLUNTEERS:

Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to bring their talents, ideas, energy and commitment to support the NMRF challenge. Many programs are “on the table” ready to be developed:

• Directory of physicians recommended by patients

• Represent NMRF within the corporate environment

• Training Youth Volunteers to instruct special classes (HAS)

• Present creative entrepreneurial ideas compatible with the NMRF challenge.
