National Medical Research Foundation promotes excellence to support research to discover a cure and alternative medications for the autoimmune diseases of Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR), Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA) and Takayasu’s Arteritis (TA) and clinical trials on medications showing positive treatment potential
NMRF disseminates awareness to an uninformed public and establishes Patient Support Groups World Wide. Emphasis is on support of the 135 million “at risk” in the United States alone.
NMRF partners with “Youth Across America”, bridging the generation gap to bring young people into the equation as volunteers to work with the over 50 age group – their parents and grandparents.
